Common questions

Can we bulk-send a policy update to 100 employees?

Yes. Bulk send (Team tier and above) accepts a CSV of recipient names + emails. Each gets a personalized signing link, and you see a real-time dashboard of who's signed.

Is this PIPEDA-compliant for employee personal data?

Yes. Documents are stored on Canadian servers; the audit trail includes IP, timestamp, and identity verification for every signature. Your DPO can request a complete data export through the API at any time.

Can we add a witness signature to offer letters?

Yes. SilverDoc supports counter-signers, witnesses, approvers, and observers as distinct roles, each with their own signing flow and labeled in the audit certificate.

Do you support sequential approval (e.g., manager → VP → HR)?

Yes. Set per-recipient signing order; reminders fire automatically if a signer takes too long. Approval chain support is included on Team tier and above.

How long are signed documents retained?

Indefinitely by default. You can configure per-document retention or trigger a hard-delete via the data-export + account-deletion flow if a former employee requests it.
